Dead Space 2 - Environment Art Intern
- Did a 12 week full time internship working on Dead Space 2.
- Sat in on all team meetings and worked closely with the environment art and level design teams to create shippable game assets.
- Quickly learned to use Perforce, and EA's proprietary tools and engine.
- Modeled and textured some destructable/animated props and game objects (Modeling/Texturing),
- Did some collision polish work,
- Took two zones within a level through all phases of production.
- Retextured somassets that came back from outsourcing with sub par quality.
- Had the pleasure of working with many of the talented people that were behind the very popular Sci-Fi Horror game, Dead Space.
- Participated in EA's summer speaker series and heard presentations from some of EA's higher ups such as Glen Schoefield (creative director for Dead Space and former GM of Visceral Games) and EA's CEO John Riccitiello.
